Warning against Appleridge Kennels

Before you consider buying a puppy from Appleridge Kennels in Ingersoll,
Ontario, Canada, please do yourself a favor and email people on the boards
of the following German Shepherd Dog Clubs (two of which represent the GSD
breed at a national level):

The London German Shepherd Dog Club (http://www.gsdclondon.on.ca/)
The German Shepherd Dog Club of Canada (http://www.gsdcc.ca/)
The German Shepherd Schutzhund Club of Canada (http://www.gsscc.ca/ )

Ask for their opinions on this breeder (Annette Sackrider) and if they would
recommend her kennel.

All of these clubs have numerous complaints on file against this breeder.
She also breeds well over 200 puppies per year, which can be verified by
reviewing the CKC Stud Books.

She has a long history or false advertising and making claims that aren't
true.

100% true...i wish more people would make posts like this... she has
falsified my dogs (3) pedigrees giving dogs titles that they have not
earned she just fancied to add them. She had a sieger trophy made up
with her own money that she claims to have won...but it like every
thing about annette and every thing that comes out of her mouth is
FAKE, LIES and DECEPTION

The Seiger trophy you are referring to belongs to Pando Stepanis from
Olympus Kennels.

It was in the 1997 Ontario Regional Championships and Seiger show that
Annette's dog "Justice" ran off the field, thereby failing in his bite work.
Her dog was NOT awarded the Seiger, however, she simply had one made up and
started claiming to have won it.

Check with Olympus Kennels if you'd like a first-hand account of this.

It was because of incidents like this that Annette was forced to resign from
the board of the GSDCC. She was also unanimously turned down for membership
at the GSD Club of London because of the numerous complaints that they had
on file against her (check with the board of the London GSD club to verify
this).

yes i have some of those letters and after many many long distance
phone calls i have determined that the ROMC that are claimed are not
dogs that the comitee has on record of recieving certificates of ROMC.

Of course she fasley advertises. If you have ever been to her training
facility, mostly all of the ribbons and trophies on the walls, belong to
another well know trainer, they are not hers.

more false advertising, please stay away!
